Welcome to our opportunities page. The Lang School is always looking for dynamic, driven, collaborative educators and support professionals with a growth mindset to work with our unique population of learners. Lang staffers enjoy exceptional on-site coaching in pedagogy and planning, plentiful access to paid professional development, generous planning periods, and a strong sense of community support (from school leadership to peers and parents).

For the 2018/19 academic year, we have three vacancies:

  • full-time Lower School math specialist (grade 1 through Algebra 1)
  • full-time paraprofessional (for one school year only)
  • part-time maker-oriented art teacher (two to three days weekly)

Faculty applicants to The Lang School generally hold masters-level certification in general education, special education, or gifted/talented education – but previous teaching experience & commitment to pursuing further certification/degrees will be considered. Applicants must have experience with underserved or special populations. Content area specialists should hold at least an undergraduate degree in the subject area to be taught.

Email applications to employment@thelangschool.org (no phone calls) and include a professional resume that lists credentials, as well as a cover letter explaining interest in Lang and describing experiences with exceptional populations.
