The Lang School is always looking for dynamic, driven, collaborative educators and support professionals with a growth mindset to work with our gifted and twice-exceptional learners. Lang staffers enjoy exceptional on-site coaching in pedagogy and planning, plentiful access to paid professional development, generous planning periods, and a strong sense of community support (from school leadership to peers and parents).

For the 2017/18 academic year, we expect to have six vacancies: three co-teachers or assistant teachers for the K through 4 classrooms in The Lower School; two middle/high school lead teachers in The Upper School (history and science); and one doctoral-level school psychologist (ABD or full licensure, supervision available).

Faculty applicants to The Lang School generally hold masters-level certification in Special Education or in Gifted and Talented Education – but previous teaching experience & commitment to pursuing further certification/degrees will be considered. Applicants must have experience with special populations. Content area specialists should hold at least an undergraduate degree in the subject area to be taught.
