I am so excited to be a member of the Lang community! I am a certified school psychologist with experience working with students from different age groups and diverse backgrounds. In my role as a school psychologist, I enjoy connecting with students and watching them grow and overcome obstacles through our work together. It is important to me that students feel understood, and I strive to meet them where they are through a compassionate and collaborative approach. I am passionate about continued learning and professional development, and believe I can learn just as much from my students as they learn from me.
Prior to joining Lang, I was a school psychologist at the Child Mind Institute, where I provided neuropsychological evaluations for over 300 students and worked to build a comprehensive referral network. Before that, I worked as the building school psychologist at an elementary school in Harlem, NY, where I provided counseling, behavior assessment, psychoeducational evaluation, and parent and teacher consultation and support.
I received my BA in Psychology and Sociology from The College of New Jersey and my MA in Applied Education and EdM in School Psychology from Columbia University. Prior to my career in school psychology, I worked in human resources and recruiting. In my free time, I enjoy traveling, being active, and spending time outside with my fiancé and my dog, Heidi.
