I am so excited to be the Lang School Literacy Specialist (Elementary/ Middle School). Teaching reading has always been my passion, and I look forward to supporting our students in their educational journeys. Before working at Lang, I spent 28 years at the Stephen Gaynor School, initially in the classroom before becoming a reading specialist, which emerged as my true calling. Seeing the benefits of the Orton-Gillingham approach and watching struggling students develop into confident, independent readers always brings a smile to my face. I'm also the mom of a daughter who experienced school challenges, so I come to this position with varying perspectives. During my spare time, you will find me in Central Park, the Gym, chilling with my dog, or enjoying time with friends.
