I am pleased to start another year working at Lang as the Upper School History Teacher. Last year was my first year at the school, and I instantly felt at home with a welcoming student body and staff. Before Lang, I lived in Shanghai, China, and worked as a school leader and teacher at an American international school. My mix of teaching in the United States and abroad gave me an insight into the multi-cultural world in which we live. In addition, my academic endeavors enhanced my experience within the classroom. I currently hold a Master's and Doctorate in Education. My learning is continuous and never-ending. I believe I am well-rounded and often bring my life experiences to the classroom. I jump out of planes and swim with sharks. I am a drummer and have toured with numerous bands throughout the world. To me, a complete education goes beyond classroom content. I seek to inspire all students to open doors closed doors because life is full of adventure.
