I have taught math in New York City schools since 2010 and Lang has been my home since 2014. I believe that mathematical knowledge is built through active problem-solving rather than passive transfer between teachers and students. I feel lucky to work in a dynamic environment, supported by staff and administration that believe the same things that I do. Outside of teaching, I enjoy riding bicycles, solving crossword puzzles, cooking, and exploring New York City.
